During my Europe trip, i read five books namely 1. Train to Pakistan by Khushwant Singh, pages-200, 2. Indian wins Freedom, by Maulana Azad, around 300 pages, 3. Indians sturggle for Independence by Bipin Chandra and four co-author,total pages 500,4. Sardar Ballabh bhai Patel by MP Kamal, total pages, around 100 pages and 5. Jayshankar Prasad ki kahaniyan, around 300 pages. Out of these jayshankar prasad and Bipin Chandra written books are still incomplete, rest all were completed.
Train to Pakistan is a fiction on partition based over a village named Mano Mazra, situatied at present India Pak border, depicting there's social dynamics. Khuswant did not forget to mention whisky, women in this fiction too. He has one character named Iqbal Singh, who always gives suspicion of his belonging whether to Sikh or Muslim.
I enjoyed reading book, ''India wins freedom. Mualana Azad had presented a unbiased and true perspective of struggle of freedom particularly since world war 2 situation.i will elaborate this book later. Book written over Patel gives impression, after all why present NDA regard him their hero.
Jayshankar prasad's stories depict the contemporary sociology of the country in a very update manner
