During the Bihar election, Modi used to say Nitish is arrogant, so he is not presenting the full account of his last 10 years rule.But i think Modi was equally arrogant that he did not rebut the charges of his opposition that he has done nothing in his last 17 month ruling period. Modi might have present his all 17 month work record as well as clarifying the price situations of different commodities. The fact is that Modi's work has been fabulous, even on price front country witnessed lowest inflation rate in last 5 years. On the front of onion and pulses, the move which were taken so late by Modi govt., that might have been averted through more earlier initiatives. But it was recklessness on the part of Modi and his co. that they did not do this. UPA lost the last election mainly because of price rise and NDA lost the Bihar because of high prices of onion and pulses.
Modi controlled BJP thinks that without using the solution of identity politics they can't get vote, because in 2004 Vajpayee lost despite good governance. BJP and their present think tank must know this fact that apart from identity politics there is another factor that is politics of populism , the cause which has been championed by Congress. So the fair politics in the country solely depends over the politics, devoid with both 'identity' and 'populism'
