i think this is most appropriate time, when we should discuss holdiays, which is abundant in numbers in our country India. First of thing which i was expecting from this NaMo govt. that was introduction of new personnel policy in this country, which should first of all stop twice a week offdays and second curtail numbers of festive holidays in a year. Barring 3 holidays 15 Aug, 26 Jan and 2nd Oct, all festive holidays must be made optional. third we should have govt. offices in at least in 2 shifts. first of all it will check huge traffic problem, second it will stop all kind of backlog works. All festive holidays must be made optional and all workers have adequate numbers of all kind of leave in a year. in the name of holidays and festival to stop the whole country is not good, whoever want to celebrate his religious holidays, it should be allowed, but in appeasing all religious festival, allowing holidays is not good for the economy and public administration as whole
