The question of criticism is not because Indian team lost two test matches in a row, The question is that of the rationality of team selection and keeping the batting order in logical manner. Indian team lost the winning momentum in very second ODI. It was because Virat send K L Rahul at no.4. Time and again, it has been proved Rahul can not bat at no. 4 in ODI. When he batted tremendously at no. 3 in TT Matches and Virat used to come at no. 4, then why he did not continue this in ODI matches.
In test matches, it was amply proved, other than Virat no Indian batsman deserves to bat in english condition. India lost first test match, but it was well fought loss, but in second test Indian team made horrendous selection. In seaming condition they kept two spinners. Virat dropped Shikhar, who might have been handy in that match, because of his fearless approach and also left right opening combination will have a much say in that match.
By selecting Hardik pandya in every match, Virat shows that he is very much obsessed with him. He even gives weighatge to Pandya over champion player like Ashwin. A captain should be never prejudiced with any player. Pandaya has far more remote chance to become all rounder like Kapildev. Pandya does not have character to be a champion player. In the third test match, Indian team must keep Rishabh pant in place of Dinesh Kartik, must replace Viay with Shikhar, Hardik must be replaced with Karun Nayar and Chinaman Yadav must be replaced with another yadav Umesh or Jaspreet Bumrah.
